Skate with me… I love rollerskating. It’s a simple way to explore the world feeling free and easy. A pencil-drawn book illustration to invoke sweet childhood memories printed on a fine art card comes with an envelope so you may easily mail artwork to dear ones, pin on mood boards, and add to 5″x7″ frames. Use it as a charming bookmark as well! This pencil drawing appears in one of my children’s books. New treasuries are coming up this winter.
Holiday berries and cream are the colour palette here in our finished sitting room renovation. The hearth is bright and airy and decorated for each season. The raspberry walls hug us as we play. We chose healthy materials, built in useful storage, and we love this custom design by yours truly. It is satisfying to turn a dusty dysfunctional house into a dream come true. There are lots of wooden desks and cosy corners. Little pumpkin soup dinners and first snowfalls are the focus this fall. I write stories every day. Now, I’ll be in full editing mode, so I’m planning a simply cosy autumn for our daily mood. New books will release this winter! We have more time this year, having finished our Rose Cottage renovations. We’re finally settling in now. Making mood boards is a fun routine we enjoy each season. Welcome to Early Spring at our Rose Cottage. It’s still snowing every day, and we cuddle up with tea to read. Here are a few books from our collection and some from the local library. It’s fun to find out which ones we love and wish to add to our home library. We use these for homeschool, too. My own original Amor Milagre artwork and books are also featured. The piano song is a melody I made up when little to meditate on during transitional times. This month, the flower bulbs are stretching up to the sun and the snow falls in fluffy clouds. Amor Milagre-March Days: Floral Hallway Wallpaper & Spring Tree Decor
This March, task by task, we’re adding refreshing beauty and usefulness to our newly hand-renovated Rose Cottage home. A gorgeous Sandberg floral wallpaper invites us down into our magical shimmering bedrooms. The soft blue-green and blooms are a breath of fresh air, and the artwork details showcase a fine embroidery style reminiscent of wise crafts of yesteryear. We are cutting our remaining woodworking projects, custom designed furniture pieces to fit in specific areas in our home. Storage, and easy to clean flooring, are important for an organised, enjoyable, healthy home and these pieces allow for this. We’re also looking at our year to reset boundaries. Knowing what is healthy for you is vital for being able to live the adventures you’re most looking forward to, especially if it’s a simple day where everyone is home together and feeling well. I will release some lovely films about our recent and past renovation and interior designs, as well as some organic gardening processes, too. Check back for these finished looks soon as we savour our last months of darling snow and quiet peacefulness.
