Not a Partridge in a Pear Tree…

When younger, it was only a murder of crows that signaled the magical air of Halloween was nigh, but here it’s also a rafter of wild turkeys flustering up the apple tree.  The crows watch on, amused, from a birch above.  The territorial squirrels test the ‘intruders’.  I paint them all into the scene.

It is now frosty.  I finish my last oil painting in the seasonal studio before it snows.  We’re also tidying up the house this week.  All those post-reno items tucked into shelves and drawers are now sorted and labeled, ready to use.  Knowing where they all are makes for a calm day.  Pumpkins are being painted.  Costumes sit at the ready.  Our wild turkeys entertain us by flocking up to fight over the last apples.  They roost until the last drop of noon falls away into the leafy breeze.  Sometimes, just two come out to our organic garden.  Today, almost thirty!  They sense our soft, vegan auras….feeling safe in this green witch’s garden.  We thank them quietly…for eating up any little biters and for tidying up before winter falls upon us.

These happy/vigilant souls soar down one at a time, giant wings all a flutter.  They care for their family, just as we do.  Leave them be.  They’re busy in their wild routines.  (No one enjoys wearing acidic orange.)

A tapestry-style family portrait will go in our new Rose Cottage kitchen between the sconces and over the sink.  Fine art prints and cards are coming up!  (1st layers-in progress)

See you again at teatime, you funny iridescent theropods.

Nursery Animal Fine Art: Watercolour Paintings, Prints, & Cards

Amor Milagre Leopard Animal Art Collection Nursery Art Prints Originals and Stationery Cards

Hello and Happy Spring!

This week, I’m re-introducing my Nursery Animal Art Collection as many new darlings will join these beauties this year.  I am selling original watercolour paintings, art prints, and stationery greeting cards.  Matching stationery card sets and children’s books will be released, too.  I paint the animals’ essence and energy.  The animals’ unique traits are clear and can be easily learned by little nature lovers.  It is very important to raise awareness for preserving and respecting nature from an early age.  Pollution is preventable and so is unnecessary extinction.  The awe-inspiring patterns and characters of animals are forever inspiring.  Many new little friends will run, hop, and splash into my shop each season.  The papers are recycled and FSC Certified.  I love to grow my animal family each year.  I hope you will enjoy exploring my collections to mix and match the art to create your own unique art gallery and to give as special gifts for dear ones.  All ages can enjoy my work, but they are especially sweet in a nursery.

Here are a few of the Best Sellers.  One lady framed the leopard for her dining room.  Another family bought most of the originals for their baby’s nursery.  Many art prints and cards sell individually or grouped with my Illustrated Garden Alphabet Letters.  New originals are coming up!  Snap them up quickly, but if you don’t it’s ok…the 8X10″ prints are very clear and the ink is quite close to the original colours.  I did many tests to make sure the prints were accurate.  I prefer originals in our nursery.  The Tiger, you see above, I reserved for our home.  You may even frame the cards before or after sending to a friend.  This week, these loves will run into my book file to join their connective story.  Hope you have a good weekend with peaceful rest and wild daydreams.

Stay cosy and safe.  Love to all, ~Amor Milagre
