Autumn Adventures: October Pumpkin Patch, Beach, Farm, & Festival
Nature guides us, connects us, and frees us. Our most meaningful adventures are our own. We prefer our wanderings as the annual festivals are too loud, pollutive, uninteresting, and exhausting. This autumn, we ramble out with the long waves and tumbling orchards, low tide beaches, hollow cold pumpkin patches, and our own cosy Rose Cottage bakes. Our Sunday mornings are for jack-o-lantern carvings and fall-themed word puzzles. We still have much to do, but it’s far less than before, so we’re enjoying our slow moments under quilted clouds and October breezes. Fun is easily found by accident!
*Shop: NEW Nature Photography (Fine Art Prints and Stationery) are coming up, featuring our past Summer-Autumn film archives. (Not shown here yet.) New pastels are dusting in, too.
A magical autumn to you! Love, ~ Amor Milagre
Music of the Moment: Hermetism album by Joep Beving (perfect car ride piano)
*Shop Art Gallery: I’ll be drawing up some lakescape pastels this month. I love the autumn light…
September Days: Autumn Adventures
We are savouring this early autumnal weather by exploring new towns, collecting pumpkins, lifting a chin up to the leafy breeze, admiring mountain & lake views whilst sharing a picnic, airing out the house, listening to vintage Halloween songs, writing serene novels, reading nature-loving quest-style books aloud as a family, baking cosy treats for spooky movie nights, and wrapping winter holiday gifts. Fall is such a magical, comfortable, and comforting time for us. Ready to snuggle up, venture out, and return home again with pockets full of smiles.
Happy Autumn to You! Love, ~ Amor Milagre
Next up in my shop will be…Autumn-themed Wax Seal Stamp Stickers!
I find it relaxing to gather, and wrap, our gifts for the winter holiday season over the summer and fall. Then, we can focus on the festive activities like playing games. We reuse red shiny bags for bigger gifts each year, but this season we added in some silvery sparkle, too. We save the paper, tissue, ribbons, and bags. All new cards are added to a memory box so that we may look back on messages and artwork as more birthdays happily come to us!
Other gifts that are too big to wrap, such as snowy walks and tickets to sense a holiday show, are captured in photo albums and in our special holiday record book. I am precious about our memories. Every day is a time to celebrate and treasure our miracles.
Please let me know of any personal book inscriptions for your holiday gift orders using my Contact Page.
Happy Birthday Autumn Babies!

Beachy Weekend Morning
A rejuvenating morning of just being…by the sea. Too mucky for swimming, but some sandcastles were built, a picnic enjoyed, merry-go-rounds spun, smiles photographed, and books savoured. I adore our family downtime. We’ve been needing this. Just sit…stroll…breathe…
A Soft Breezy Weekend… Love, ~Amor Milagre
