Germs are Germs. They affect every person differently. What may only bother you can most definitely kill a vulnerable person, like a baby’s mother. Sense people around you. Ask about their immune system levels. “How are you doing today?” can prevent catastrophes. Awareness is key. Take the best care to protect yourself and everyone by preventing the spread of germs. Care. Care about how germs work. Educate yourself on germs, illnesses, vaccines, remedies, and basic actions that can save lives. Do not spread germs when you can easily remove yourself from a place. Take basic safety precautions we already know and must really practice daily.
This is a very dangerous time in general. The medical care resources are not steady, predictable, available, or accountable. They never were, but now… Our countries need to care about taking care, about medicine, about science, and health warnings. It is hard enough to survive, and so if everyone is acting responsibly, empathically, and lovingly towards themselves and those around them, and the world as a whole, we each have a better chance at lessening our suffering and boosting our unique immune systems to begin healing. Only then can we build good health. Trust me, I am still waiting to live without pain, a preventable and severe pain. The day was not meant to be merely survived, but truly lived and loved.
*A person who goes to work, to the post office, anywhere…even someone at home who doesn’t tell anyone they’re sick, is not usually aware of how many people they have personally and directly endangered. How many people have you made sick, or even pushed to their death, unknowingly? Germs are Germs.

This week, we’re making some Valentine’s Day decorations, and I’ll post about those soon.
All of my books are love letters. The Hoppy Bunny baby book and my seasonal novels, The Love Letter Diaries, are especially heartwarming. My beloved family of book characters spans all reading levels, so if your Valentine is new or growing with every year, there is a story for you.
A new collection of beautifully unique wax seal stamp stickers releases this week. Each design was drawn by hand with love, and every seal is patiently pressed into a growing variety of colours. The artisan aesthetic and feel of these little collector’s dreams are transformative. When holding one, or when tracing the raised leaves and curls, one feels swept back to a more natural time of ancient tree root systems and fresh air. Time travellers, you know, may not agree with many things of old, but they like to keep the most endearing trinkets of each age and hold them dear. I do not agree with many modern events either, but I put out as much timeless love with my work as the day (and night) will allow. (I write stories in the moonlight. I paint by the sunshine.) These collectable stickers seal your letters with a kiss of romance. I even place them on my book covers sometimes, when special orders come in. My growing stationery collection greets some new designs this month. They promote the asking of dates to physical locations again. Even a friendly game is a fun way to get to know someone. A candlepin bowling card is on my printer as I type this. We tried it recently as a family date, and it was a blast!
All of my collections are intertwining and thriving together like a forest of grapevines and moon flowers. Many new books for babies, children, teens, and adults will be happily released this year. Each season going forward will boast a new packaging colour design. This winter was a deep delicious garnet paired with tarnished gold. The Loving Novels are explorations of the self. My characters include all love stories. Some of my favourite characters represent the LGBTQ lovelies. I am writing a sweet ode-style post about one such darling, releasing soon. My love stories are about real love. They are not the usual style of story, I think, because I’ve never read a book style like mine. Have you? These people, and their journeys, are from my heart. Being an empath, I absorb the world. People effervesce their love stories, silently, as they roam the earth, trying to heal themselves and find small ways to express their joy. Love means something different to everyone and at different stages of life. What does love mean to you now? Much of my characters’ adventurous narratives derive from my own inner world as well. I write of what I wish for the world, for myself, and for my family. My philosophy is, “If you design it, you will live it. Surround yourself with love.” I design beautiful stories and let their positive inspiration spill out into our home. What path and feeling do you wish to design in this moment? A Gentle Life Bookshop
My books will soon be featured in many bookshops and libraries nationwide. I will make a stockist page for these venues when ready. You’ll be able to read my books in libraries and purchase them in bookshops all over the USA. I am beginning locally in Maine and New England, and then I’ll branch out. I might do some book signings and readings at local Maine libraries and bookshops. I’ll post about it here if I decide to do public events again. In future seasons, I’ll translate my books into several other languages and braille to sell in worldwide shops. How can one separate time when it is all at once? My memory is an ancient one, and I love to get lost in my earliest, most natural memories. I close my eyes and see green, sparkling green. My art translates a sliver of these images. My book characters also dwell here, some in mossy hillside homes, cosy in the Earth, and covered in wildflowers. Antonia’s Bakery is a such a children’s book. My Leona novels are from another series that bridges old and new days. An enchanting new book, featuring more illustrations of natural earthen homes, is coming soon! In my stories, many ideas for preserving and appreciating nature are shared.
Below is a video about bushcraft and loving nature that feels grounding for the viewer. I came across it this week while doing some research for our woods and cottage garden. These building techniques remind me of my family now, which is my ancient soul family. We lived with the Earth and we try every day to get back to that peace. Remember when building your homes, it is important to use the most natural, non-toxic, and sustainable materials and systems.
