I love being home and in the garden. Amidst the covid-19 threat, our daily routine stays mostly the same, but with added anxiety and even more awareness for safety precautions. Chronic illness and the world’s pollution of every kind has weakened us, but home is always where we wanted to be, sick or healthy, and we, as ever, are determined to continue our strength in heart and get through yet another storm of the world. We used to go out once a week for the weekly shop and to explore the town, and that was enough for the week. Towns, even small ones, are not healthy, especially for sensitive and empathic people. Pollution affects everyone, and this is where illness comes from. It’s not new, and it is devastating that the world only becomes aware of this simple connection of cause and effect when something like this happens.
Our daily routine excludes my husband, who would commute to work, but who now stays home, to help prevent us from getting sick, and now we have less money to support our family. Years ago, we enthusiastically chose to homeschool, and we have survived many illnesses, alone with no help, even though help was asked for…a lot. We were just beginning to recover, settling into our new home, renovating, finally able to slow down, paying down medical bills slowly but surely, and making gently loving plans for our healing year of 2020.
My shop is staying open,
and we are taking serious precautions to stay healthy. If I am ill, store updates will show on the homepage. I take the greatest care in packaging my ethically-made collections so that everything is hygienic and heathy. We are self-isolating and have not been in contact with anyone, let alone anyone sick. As always, I do urge customers to wash their hands well after opening the mail, and do all you can to organically and naturally boost your immune system.
Thank you for supporting our family during this great distress.
Love & Strength, ~Amor Milagre
It is time for new growth!
Citizens need to be allowed to live their lives, without wars, pollution, and violence. No more! We are all beyond exhausted and sick. There is so much we each can do to change the course the world is invading us to feel. I have always felt this, and this is what Amor Milagre is all about, encouraging love and ways to live A Gentle Life, helpful not harmful, and positive for all…because we are all so very directly connected. Give empaths and all people peace to live gently in loving Nature.
Starting over is nothing new as we do it every day. This inconvenient and preventable state that this new threat of illness has imposed on us, forces us to strengthen, once again, in this time of self-isolation and world pain. We cannot afford any more illness, and as a parent, this stress is really too much. So, despite my husband’s employer not paying him to work from home, we are self-isolating to help protect our health and to prolong our healing. We get sick too easily, quickly, and very badly. Chronic illnesses complicate things that hardly bother another person who lives without them and unaware of them. The violence and recklessness of the meat-eaters/sellers has really touched everyone in a way that makes it even more obvious why we all need every person to wake up to veganism.
All the world can be, and needs to be, vegan.
The health care system has failed me all of my life, and this is too true for many others. Falling down the rabbit hole is what it’s been like for me…endlessly falling through the healthcare gaps. They say, “you are untreatable…you won’t last long, try all of these (terrible) medicines…I cannot do anything for you, I don’t know what this is about, let me refer you to someone (another clueless doctor)” but I found ways to help myself because I had to. I survived many things and continue to survive them every day. Nature heals in every sense. The way our world is now is completely unacceptable for children and us…so we must change it!
Change to veganism, an organic lifestyle, peaceful loving respect for Nature,
and you will feel the world change into a beautiful, healthy place.
*If you have lost any of your darling Dear Ones, I empathize deeply with you. Remember, your Soul travels with theirs and is always connected in energy. One day, your heart will recognize their heart again.
*To all of those who are sick: I send peace and love to your dear bodies to heal and rest in the positive strength of your thoughts. Find natural plants to help you. There are so many herbs and food combinations to boost your immune systems, to clear your breathing, and I know…it’s very hard to breathe when you’re sick, but a trick I use daily is to believe you can, and then your body follows you.
While staying home, remember to use kindness, compassion, and loving communication with your Dear Ones. This is a time to get to know your Self and them. Play cards, make soups, do puzzles, learn new things, educate yourself on plant nutrition and organic gardening, and take walks in the garden. There are endless things to do and learn. I had forgotten about the word ‘bored’ until I saw it online one day when someone was transitioning to a slower, quieter lifestyle for isolation. I believe everyone can learn something positive from the spreading of this atrocious and saddening illness. A Gentle Life is healthy for all. Slowing down, quieting in Nature, hearing your Self is very important in every sense. Embracing changes and designing them to be positive for you is how I am still here to write loving messages in the hopes of helping you come closer to real love within. Make the most of everything you have around you! Be proactive, learn, and grow full of life and love!
This is also good time for Spring Cleaning of your home, garden, mind, heart, soul, and pantry (replace with organic vegan items that use sustainable/minimal to zero packaging). We’re washing the window screens, cleansing the body, and resetting sleep routines to leave more space for morning and evening meditation and yoga stretching and deep breathing. Keeping your home clean helps you feel refreshed, and fresh air promotes oxygen health. Develop routines to prevent the spreading of illness. Cooking together builds trust, so later on if anyone is ill, they know that the soup is full of fresh vegetables from sensing them and learning how to combine them, and they will be more likely eat the soup, take their medicine, and rest in the trust you built together.
Songs are a lovely way to show your Love, and they fit neatly under the door in case you need to sing from the other side. Reading books is always magical, and soon I’ll have a few more for you!
Choose positivity for your Self and All! XO ~Amor Milagre
