Here are a few of my favourite organic non-toxic products, sustainably sourced, made, and packaged:
Apricot Kernel Oil (edible)
Grapeseed Oil (edible)
Bulgarian Rose Water (edible)
Calendula Oil (In an Olive Oil Base. We’ll be making this in the Summer, and I’ll share a new journal recipe post).
Coconut Oil (edible)
Jojoba Oil (Said to be the closet to the natural skin and hair oil, use small amounts with body’s natural oils)
Lavender Essential Oil, Used Diluted as a Drop in a Bath or in a mixture of carrier oils such as the above. (If pregnant or nursing, avoid this essential oil. The others above were very helpful during maternity. More on this is coming up).
One can benefit from these products in many directions. Apply to clean, damp skin and hair to keep the moisture natural. This also helps you use less product, allowing for more air to breathe and less build up of layers. Less is more!
