One of life’s simple pleasures and luxuries is wearing a fresh garment after a bath or shower. Your body, mind, and soul work well together when you set a positive, refreshed tone for the day. We painted our laundry room all white for a clean, simple, and calm emotion. It brightens up a dark space. Two sconces (on a dimmer, an easy adjustment for your home) flank a half wall, the washer and dryer below (plumbing hidden in the wall for a restful room), a shelf with custom drying bars, and space for 4 laundry baskets and 3 illustrations framed in white. Good storage makes all the difference. Designing closets takes time and attention to detail, but once they’re done, you’re so happy to have the space, no clutter, and less dust to clean. A clean home is a healthy home.
This room inspires the love and positive attention needed for gentle laundering of our carefully chosen garments and linens. Buy organic with non-toxic dyes, and wash with non-toxic soaps for optimal health. The skin absorbs what you wear. Hand wash and air dry items as much as you can for a sustainable home and less bills. Laundry lines in the fresh air are wonderful.
Sweeten your life by surrounding yourself with what you adore and who you love. Soon, our shop will open, and we invite you to create your own artwork gallery, custom stationery sets, choose from our organic apparel collection, and find custom gifts for yourself and loved ones.
A home that is purely you lightens and inspires you every day! If you don’t know what you like or why you like something, think back to when you first sensed it. Many things we think we like just turn out to be familiar from an early age. What do you really love and why? We encourage everyone to find designs for functionality, durability, usability, and also what you connect with.
