Steamed Fennel Bulb and Asparagus & Soup
Float on a cloud of light airy flavours with this delicate duo. A wonderful baby-and-me snack or side dish. The fennel is very good for digestion and tastes lightly and naturally of licorice. It contains vitamin C, dietary fiber, potassium, molybdenum, manganese, copper, phosphorus, folate, calcium, pantothenic acid, magnesium, iron, and niacin. Asparagus is a great source of folate, fiber, vitamins A, C, E and K, as well as several minerals. It is rich in protein. They taste wonderful together!

In a large skillet, add washed & chopped asparagus and fennel bulb. Add some water, pepper, and a lid. Steam until al dente. Eat as is or blend for a soup!
