Steamed Cinnamon Apples & Sauce
Serve warm on cold days and cold on warm days, this quick & simple recipe is a favourite here on all of the dates of the calendar. Use applesauce instead of oils for a healthier life.
Non-GMO, organic, local, vegan ingredients:
Add roughly diced apples to a pan with some water for steaming. Sprinkle in 1 tsp of cinnamon. Add a lid and steam the apples until easily perceived by a fork or knife point, about 10 minutes on med-low.
Serve like this or lightly blend for applesauce. Satisfying on its own, as a side dish, snack, and dessert.
