Our Food Update: Change to Vegan/Plant-Based Only Foods (Still Organic) and Recipes and cut out cooking with oils. (Our site will reflect this soon with notes on any older non-vegan recipes so as not to confuse our readers.)
A moment to slow down, re-educate, and redirect has led us to increase our consumption of plant-based foods, stop eating animal foods (can’t do it after more recent research, see link at bottom, unsustainable effects on the Earth, Oceans, Rain Forest, food chain, dying ocean life, inhumane animal slaughtering, unhealthy contents of food that contribute to disease, empathic feeling of fear and pain when eating animals, future health for our family, starting children off healthy for a happy life, etc.), decrease the use of supplements, and experience more strength and nutrients naturally from organic plants. Reflections of this food update can be seen in our upcoming recipes. Today we’re making our traditional weekly vegetable soup to inspire new plant-based dishes for the week.
Chronic illness, disease prevention, sleep, family emotional & physical health, and an overall healthy & happy lifestyle have a better chance of improving by eating more plants. Even if a doctor may say you need more meat, respect your body and instincts. Respond with what your inner voice tells you that you need to try throughout the various stages of your health and life. The beautiful energy from the sun radiates in plants, and you can feel that peacefulness when you taste them.
Babies and children adore fresh plant-based foods. Starting them off with healthy options will help them choose healthy foods, relationships with themselves and others, and everything else throughout their life. Explore the colours, textures, and tastes. It’s never too late for any age to assess your life and redirect, simplify, and strive for a beautiful, healthy lifestyle. A respectful mixture of healthy foods is one good constant you can count on and choose that leads to more healthy decisions.
We started growing a new tray of lettuce seeds. Children of all ages love growing their own foods. We’ll be starting up the outdoor vegetable garden soon, too. Simplifying life in a natural, calm, happy rhythm is what we’re letting unfold. Eat mostly plants, fresh & organic, and feel good energy within.
Educate yourself about sustainable food, and make your own choices.
