A Simple Fish  

Non-GMO, organic, local, free range, grass-fed ingredients:

Ask your butcher  “What is your most sustainable fish right now?”

This is a Wild Caught Hake.

Olive Oil/Butter

Optional:  Salt and Pepper.  Egg.  Any herb you like such as rosemary, basil, or dill.

Heat a pan to medium.  Add in a few tbsp olive oil/butter.  Place fish in.  Season or add fresh herbs.  Cook, flip, and cook until flakes easily with a fork.

Time depends on the size of your fish.  We cut a quarter piece off of the filet for a snack, so it only took a few minutes on each side.  This fish was cooked with an egg for extra protein and paired with a small piece of cornbread warmed in the oil/butter.

This is a wonderful meal/snack for anyone.  For babies, remove bones and check for allergies as usual.
