Wild Blueberry Walk
Fresh wild blueberries are tiny, yet each one packs a massive burst of tangy, sweet flavor. The wild raspberries and blackberries are coming in now too. Not only are these delicious, a great source of antioxidants, and have amazing nutritional value, but they are so beautiful and fun to pick.
Eat for a snack alone or with some cheese or add to whole milk yogurt, pancakes, french toast, muffins, cakes, pie, smoothie, meats as a sauce (make a blueberry BBQ), salads whole or added to a basic dressing/vinaigrette, or anything you like.
Just as washing your clothes and linens brightens your home and health, nature’s infinite creation and beauty enhances each breath you take and inspires creativity in all directions of your life.
No matter the trimester, morning sickness can happen, and when under stress it can heighten. You can feel like you’re drowning in illness the whole 9 months and afterwards. Taking walks or sitting outside in a fresh breeze can help when you’ve tried everything else. Daily fresh air and taking regular, slow walks are good for everyone. We saw these butterflies eating their dinner when we sat outside eating our dinner. The interesting, spiky stems and soft, lilac flowers of the thistle were a lovely surprise. Nature always provides such perfect beauty on her own, uncontrolled or planned by us, so we can rest and enjoy it.
